We will have a blessing of Prayer Shawls.

On Friday, July 18 we delivered 34 backpacks and many of the 

supplies they requested including pens, pencils, crayons, erasers, rulers, tape, washable markers, pencil pouches, pencil sharpeners, colored pencils, glue sticks, USB drives, scissors, folders, notebooks, 3-ring binders, subject dividers, lined paper, backpacks, highlighters, calculators, protractors, index cards, wite-out.

 We toured the twenty unit facility in Garden Grove where there are one, two, and three bedroom facilities for unhoused families to live. They explained the supportive services and educational programs designed to foster independence and stability that are provided.

St. Andrew’s book group will resume discussions on September 10 at 11:00, followed by noonday prayer at 12:00. Our book is One Mighty Irresistible Tide by Jia Lynn Yang. We will discuss the first two chapters.
