What to Expect When You Visit St. Andrew’s

When you enter St. Andrew’s, you’ll be welcomed by our greeter and ushers, who will hand you a service bulletin and answer questions you may have.

You’ll notice that some people are a bit dressed up and others are very casual—whatever is comfortable for you is fine. Children are very welcome, and you may hear their joyful noises during the service. Click on the “Children and Youth” tab for information about Sunday School.

Our service begins with the “Liturgy of the Word,” which means scripture, prayers and a sermon. The second part of the service is the “Eucharist” or Holy Communion. Wherever you are in your journey of faith, you are welcome to participate and to receive the sacrament, or, if you prefer, a blessing.

Our 8:00 am service is spoken, the 10:00 am service includes organ or piano music, choir, and congregational singing of hymns.

We invite you to linger after the service for coffee and conversation. This is an important part of our morning! We’d love to get to know you.
