Visiting St. Andrew’s
Worship services take place in the sanctuary at 8:00 and 10:00 am. The 10:00 am service will also be livestreamed. Given the recent rise in Covid cases, we require everyone who attends services to wear a mask. We have a supply of masks available at the entrance for those who need one. Wherever you are in your journey of faith, you are welcome to join us!
What to Expect When You Visit St. Andrew’s
When you enter St. Andrew’s, you’ll be welcomed by our greeter and ushers, who will hand you a service bulletin and answer questions you may have.
You’ll notice that some people are a bit dressed up and others are very casual—whatever is comfortable for you is fine. Children are very welcome, and you may hear their joyful noises during the service. Click on the “Children and Youth” tab for information about Sunday School.
Our service begins with the “Liturgy of the Word,” which means scripture, prayers and a sermon. The second part of the service is the “Eucharist” or Holy Communion. Wherever you are in your journey of faith, you are welcome
to participate and to receive the bread (because of Covid 19, wine is not being offered to the congregation at this time), or, if you prefer, a blessing. Our 8:00 am service is spoken, the 10:00 am service includes organ or piano music and congregational singing of hymns.
Though we are not able to serve coffee after services during Covid, we invite you to linger for conversation. This is an important part of our morning! We’d love to get to know you.
